Silver Trowel 2018

The Silver Trowel degree was performed for the first time in the District of Durham when the newly consecrated

Kessick John Jones Council No 337 met at Shiney Row on Friday 13th July 2018 perform the degree for eight Candidates, having rehearsed it on the three previous Sundays. Just to add extra spice to the occasion the Grand Master was in attendance, accompanied by his Grand Director of Ceremonies. The Degree was performed in a first class manner by the whole team but a special mention to Harry Norman in taking the lead role in this very special ceremony. The Grand Master presented the Candidates with their certificates and silver trowels at the conclusion. The festive board that followed was in keeping with the whole night with first class food being served to over fifty companions. In his reply to the toast the Grand Master congratulated the whole team on the very high standard of the ritual. The District Grand Master in his toast to the Council also praised the Council and said how proud he was of everyone involved.
